The Mission of SIETAR Houston : |
We bring together
people of varied cultural perspectives in an open environment that
encourages exploration and celebration of culture. |
Established in 1991, SIETAR Houston is the largest SIETAR group in the USA. Our members work in many intercultural environments and professions including consulting, teaching, training, counseling, healthcare, business, and human resources management.
SIETAR Houston offers a variety of programs of intercultural and multicultural interest. Our programs and professional networking take place the first or second Saturday of each month, September through June.
We meet from 9:30 am to noon in the Cameron Building on the University of Houston Campus, Cullen Blvd & Wheeler St, Houston, TX 77004
SIETAR Houston's monthly programs address specific cultures as well as intercultural communication topics, and are conducted by experts in the field, many of whom come from within the membership.
Admission to Programs: Non-members $7.00, Students $5.00, Members Free.
SIETAR Houston also provides speakers to groups who would like to learn more about intercultural communication. For more information about SIETAR Houston Email us at: pr@sietarhouston.org
